The mission of the Embassy is to strengthen cooperation between Finland and the Netherlands in the spheres of politics, trade, culture and people-to-people contacts. Our task is also to represent Finland at the international institutions based in The Hague, most importantly at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons and the International Criminal Court.
In addition, we give, if necessary, consular assistance to Finnish citizens and residents.
Our work here is team work, conducted in close cooperation with our Dutch counterparts, the international community, and with the Finnish community in the Netherlands. The Finnish Benelux Institute in Brussels and other Finnish organizations are invaluable partners for us.
We are happy to assist anyone interested in Finland by facilitating contacts and providing relevant information on our country. We are equally pleased to be of service for those in Finland with an interest in the Netherlands.
We are open for feedback and happy to hear your ideas on how to improve our services. You can find our contact information on this website and on Facebook.
