The in 1997 formed Tempera Quartet performs on 29 January 2010 in the Concertgebouw together with the bassoonist Bram van Sambeek.
The Tempera Quartet is a string quartet. The members of the quartet are Laura Vikman (violin), Silva Koskela (violin), Tiila Kangas (viola) and Ulla Lampela (cello). The Tempera Quartet has had a broad musical education with studies at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki and abroad. The quartet has toured e.g. in Sweden, Germany, Belgium, the UK, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Russia, Romania, Czech Republic, Spain, Lithuania, Japan, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. The Tempera Quartet has performed at many Finnish chamber music festivals.
The quartet has performed many world première pieces and e.g. Pehr Henrik Nordgren and Paavo Korpijaakko have owned works for the quartet.
In Amsterdam the quartet plays works of Sibelius, Crusell and Aho.
